چکیده

Abstract Background Heart failure hospitalizations in adult patients with congenital heart disease (ACHD) are increasing and associated higher healthcare-related costs. We aimed to evaluate factors that repeated whether related adverse outcome ACHD (ACHD-HF). Methods Out of 3995 under active follow-up our institution (last visit >2010), 256 (mean age 49.5±16.7 years) had ACHD-HF were included the study. Medical records reviewed, including hospitalization prior after study inclusion. A combined endpoint death, ventricular assist device transplantation was defined. Results Overall, 136 (53%) a hospitalization. Over mean 2.5±2.3 years, 44 (17%) hospitalizations. Of these, 31 (12%) 1; 9 (4%) 2 4 (2%) 3 Patients NYHA class (p=0.031), more likely have end-organ dysfunction (p=0.025) (p<0.001). In multivariable Cox regression analysis, only (HR 2.431 95% CI 1.516–43.896 p<0.001) Seventy (27%) reached VAD or (event-rate 11% per year). Repeated not analysis. Conclusions frequent ACHD-HF. End-organ appears be strong determinant Event-rate is high ACHD-HF, but this short-term FUNDunding Acknowledgement Type funding sources: None. Table 1.1 1.2
